recent morning Cuyahoga Heights Metropark

I have mentioned, i went in search of a brown pelican. After several attempts, i found him behind a s*** plant. His name is Thibodeaux. My next pursuit was of a snowy egret (white heron). No gots. Monday morning, i found several herons posing at some distance. These fellows, on this day, were content to stay in one place for a long time. The Cleveland Metroparks printed a checklist of birdies, a green heron is pictured. Even though, i have not seen the great white one, there are other beautiful creatures.
Now, wee songbirds are a test to focus and snap. They are quite flighty, and with a recalcitrant camera you get only foliage. Supra, male house finch; the female has no red.
