The English believe, a clown's red nose is the international symbol of comedy (it may be, but outside the US). On a middle Friday in March in the odd years there is a television fund raising campaign for the charity of Comic Relief. Originally, this was in response to the Ethiopian famine. Recently a couple, who volunteer for a clown charity that visits children with cancer, got married. Everyone can wear such a nose.
