from St. Luke Lakewood, miscellany #2

I have always appreciated stained glass, i would not have been displeased to be such a glasier. For those who are students of christian art, you know the subjects of the glass well. The pelican, cock, lamb, and fleur-de-lis are fine attractive glass. These were the most interesting panes of larger windows.  I used the El Salvadoran Martyrs' glass for a page [click]. I am trying to remember, the Second of March was overcast in the afternoon. That statue is of St. Paul of Tarsus.

I did not have a story for the parish. Now as i understand, a son of the parish is a Capuchin cardinal in Boston. Our Francis, apparently, respects the man; but i have not heard that he has cleaned up the disaster of Law and Lennon. Should being a son of a parish mean anything?; well Krol was cardinal in Philadelphia, and a son of St. Hyacinth, and Lennon sold that campus for $38,000. That was all that parish meant to him.
