the answer to war is NO!

                                                                   [borrowed images]
I would like to write a long considered essay, but i have been behind in current reading. But a few points, i would like to convey. President Obama is scheduled to address the nation on the, presumed, decision to bomb Syria, on Tuesday. Is this the man that received the Nobel Prize for Peace?? Is his Secretary of State, John Kerry, a decorated Viet Nam war veteran, who when returned spoke against that war. Is this not the John Kerry, who ran against the bushcheney war machine? Does the military and economic royalists so control the government that they absorb whomever becomes titular heads of governance, even those whom were feared, vilified, or expected to put up resistance against them?

 from the Japanese Constitution
ARTICLE 9. Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes. (2) To accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained. The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.
Currently, the greater majority of the American public who have conveyed their desires to their elected representatives in government have been against the United States being a belligerent in Syria. They remember being LIED to about Iraq. Now, if i foolishly presume, those whom were against bombing and engaging war under cheneybushjr are not enthusiastic concerning the next war adventure. So, since we have supposed democrats in power, now war weary non-democrats can feel free to be dovish.
