Lincoln

The area in Cleveland, now called 'Tremont' had been called 'Lincoln Park'. This bas-relief is on a building that once was a bank or savings and loan, now a restaurant.
In front of the Cleveland Board of Education there is Lincoln delivering the Gettysburg Address. Inside the Cuyahoga County Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the text is also on a bronze plaque. Lincoln said a number of important, and memorable words; but this seems to be the most remembered and cherished by Americans.
Levi Scofield. One of four multi person full size tableaus inside the monument; close up of President Lincoln amongst Union (Federal) generals.  1894.  Cleveland.

To-day is (or was) Lincoln's birthday. Lincoln was the greatest of his party (Republican), has any Republican mentioned him upon his birth anniversary? Ah-hah.
