One of the new park projects of Cleveland Metroparks is the clean up of Clark Field. Next to where the Clark Pershing bridge began, there was abandoned industrial land. On the field below there was many tons of ground asphalt. Some of the asphalt are the under structure of grassed mounds. Winding bicycle paths have been built, and wildflowers planted. A new small ecosystem has been built to slow, and clean rain water, which will reach the lake.
The high entrance allows for viewing of the train tracks, steel mill, police impound lot, other businesses, and a long distance, same elevation view of St. Theodosius.
