Sometimes, i am driving and see something that should photographed be.  One problem is the car glass, sometimes glare, and sometimes schmutz. But one needs to operate the wheel, and the pedals; so one hands off the camera, and tells his passenger, "take a picture of______". And of course, hounds are fine travelling companions.
