Corpus Christi 2020

St. Emeric is a Hungarian (Magyar) parish. Saint Emeric Cleveland was the last parish forcibly closed by then Cleveland bishop, Richard Lennon. The parish kept on meeting, and gained local, and international support. The Vatican sided with this, and ten other local parishes that they were non-canonically closed, and must be open. Saint Emeric's was the last to be opened, eight months after the decree.
Corpus Christi is a Catholic holiday celebrating the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Many Eastern European parishes in the new world still have outdoor processions, with altars three outside and the one inside the church. Altars are set up by parishioners, and often have flowers. During the procession, rose petals can be strewn about.

The procession has a monstrance (a vessel to carry a Host [the Body of Christ]). Often a canopy travels with the Host.

Under this time of coronavirus, some care is taken by people to cover their faces and keep physicslly separate.
