signs of possession

On the side of St. Philomena School, East Cleveland

This was painted on the back of a current church on Ashbury Avenue Cleveland. There are many bible passages that are quoted, but yet, sometimes one thinks "why that one?". This was before David was king, and Siceleg (Ziklag) was sacked by the Amalekites. David then went to slay them. Why is this an important passage?
