2026 Miscellany #6

While walking the house wolves (they insist on daily walks) in the Cultural Gardens, we were in the Shakespeare Garden.  There was a light, cold rain. On this black sundial there was a thin layer of water.  Raindrops made continuing new ripples.  I found it calming, and aesthetic.  Since raining as it was, i had left my camera in the car's glove box.  My nephew has a camera on his mobile phone, and i asked him to take a few snaps. This was the good one, with a few digital enhancements it became what i had seen. [foto: JZ]
Not far away, there is this giant dogwood. It was in bloom and as tall as the house. The rain continues, and this was snapped through an open car window.
Went to Hemlock Trail by Tinker's Creek in the Metroparks to see Virginia Bluebells, and other ephemerals. Very few bluebells had opened, but did see this Canadian Tiger Swallowtail. In eyesight, the butterfly was more yellow than the foto has it.
Euclid Beach arch is coming along, 25 April.  It was lifted and moved to where a McDonald's had been.  It was stripped, and covered anew.
another edition of Tim Misny
Promises made, promises broken.

Misny does some effective, and entertaining self promotion. He is no the only one that self promotes. There is one horrid, self hawking, howling orange shit gibbon, barking mad self promoter, who to the world's dismay is currently the President of the United States. He is human history's most frequent liar. A continuing series of lies he and his minions use is the motto, "Promises made, promises kept". Foto snapped on May Day. This lie was gasoline was going to be under two dollars. Thanx trump!
