Like many events, last year's Columbus Day Parade in Cleveland's Little Italy was a no go. This year it was back to normal. The first time i went was in 2017 [click], and like many parades there are regular participants, and some the crowd enjoys seeing. But catching a still picture of the subject does not always manifest. To instantly catch them in pose, at a good and unobstructed line of sight does not appear. You expect, and wait them to process, and no. So no good foto of the gondola float, or the San Rocco Columbus galleon float.

Steel is an Italian mastiff.
Parades give an opportunity for political advertising. Next year, Ohio has elections for governor, and US senator. Six Repukes are running for senate, five are filthy rich (the other one is particularly scummy, was divorced from a very rich family), five have publicly attached their mouths to Orange Caligula's rump. One of them has her name on the front of the t-shirts, and an Ohio license plate on the back reading "Trump Country" [insert nauseous/puke emoji]. Couple other candidates had someone with a bullhorn announce the candidate was the only Italian in that state race. It is quite sad that an Italian parade is considered fertile ground for Repukes [insert nauseous/puke emoji].
