* Postscriptum April 4th 2024:  i think it is a sculpture of  Charles Grandison Finney *1792, 1875†. Finney was the first theology professor at Oberlin College, and later the second president. He was a lead revivalist preacher in western New York. He was a Presbyterian. Presbyterians and Congregationalists had a Plan of Union, in which they shared congregations. Congregational Church of Brooklyn began in 1819, and until 1867 was affiliated with both churches. A new church was built in 1879, and the present church in 1928-9. Ultimately the congregation was called Archwood United Church of Christ.
