'B' is for Buckeye

Art and Soul of Buckeye Community Park. East 118th & Buckeye Road. Cleveland. O.
James Simon. Buckeye Trumpet Man & Dog. 2008.

A wall allowing to be sitting spots to play board games has ceramic mosaics of instruments by Angelica Pozo. 2008.
Anna Arnold. How Sweet the Sound. 2010,  not the same mural the park began with.

Weizer Bldg. with terra cotta Beaux Arts facade 1925.
This would have looked great downtown, and in an earlier generation, this neighborhood hub would have competed, as would E. 55th and Broadway for a center of commerce and activity. It had been an Hungarian (Magyar) neighborhood, but that was two generations ago.
