West 65th & Madison

Spring is to arrive. On this corner is painted a side view of Cleveland's St. Colman Church, and the winged lion of St. Mark on its steps. On the bottom there are RTA transit rail trains, an entrance is across the street a bit.
Madison Avenue is ripped up, and only partially navigable. There are cement dividers blocking the street at the train access. They were put up before the city began ripping up the street. Rapid bus stations in town, this one included, have been unsafe and people have been robbed, and attacked.

This is a good and purposeful graffito, of message and a little art, and a cultural reference. The character on the left is modeled after one of the Pac-Man ghosts of video game fame.

To-day, is Sunday and Saint Patrick's Day.  Mass at Colman's will be packed. The floor seats 1200, the balcony is standing room, and there is a basement, a narthex, aisles, the sanctuary, and steps. It is party central. Mass, downtown parade, a food social lasting hours. People who only visit Colman's on Patrick's, and some other certain eventful days, may notice the art.
