One of Plato's Buicks

This is one of these photo-essays i would have posted on the slavonic quijote site. I had just finished photographing St. Vincent. I had put my camera into my pocket. A real car stops at the traffic light. Camera came back out and this was snapped.
1948 (?) Aztec Green Buick Roadmaster
In 1949 Buick Roadmasters had port holes. Maybe, this is a '48; if it is not, write. This car has a windshield visor [still a good idea]. Notice placement of side view mirror. The chrome visor over the headlights makes them look like eyes.

The paint colors had names. This one was called 'aztec green'. For the Aztecs this was the royal color. The feathers of the quetzal bird are of this color.
