♀ Henry V ♀

Cleveland Shakespeare is doing an all female Henry V.  The second of nine performances was Saturday night in Lakewood. About the only fellow to be seen, runs and climbs to the stage and identifies himself as an "old man".
Emphasizing comedy often, the Archbishop of Canterbury unrolls a scroll.
Except for Henry, the actors all play more than one character. These two: Kimberly Martin, and Sara Katrenich (as well as Page Cummings) were excellent throughout.
The French embassy brings the Dauphin's gift for the king of England — tennis balls.

Henry the Fifth, the actor played him as being pompous.

Near the end, Fluellen (a Welshman) makes Pistol eat a leek.
...and a quick walk after the play, the sun fell in the lake right near on an extension of the solstice line.
