Eduardo Kobra and three assistants painted four musicians (Chuck Berry, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley and Wanda Jackson) during the first half of September to create Cleveland's largest mural. He has painted over 3,000 murals, including the world's largest mural for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He is from São Paolo and he paints around the world. He has 19 in New York City, Louis Armstrong in New Orleans, Bob Dylan in Minneapolis. Most are photographic portraits with a bright kaleidoscopic overlay.

For several summers Cleveland Zoo has had Asian [Chinese] Lantern displays up. Thanks to trump, this year's version was greatly inferior in number & diversity & quality. I snapped this after some of the displays were being taken. They were also short on dragons. I tilted the camera to get this angle.
Goldenrods are so bright and rich in color when in bloom, and attract many insects. I remember having goldenrod tablets in grade school, perhaps they were a Woolworth's purchase. I hear some people do not like goldenrod.

Transfiguration from St Paul Episcopal will be at Peg's Gallery for most of the rest of 2026. It had been at Akron Art Museum for a lengthy visit.
