snowy owl

Well, it is a gray day. Sunnier days are better for foto snapping. A nieceling gave me a book on birding spots, on top of the cover there was a snowy owl. Sometimes when they visit Cleveland and Lorain, they sit on the lake's breakwall, relatively far away. This one has been sitting near the traffic circle at Edgewater on an utility pole. I am reminded of St. Rocco's greasy pole. And, "I am a lineman for the county".  This bird has been in a few spots yards away, these past days. Another has been around Lorain's long pier, and a few others are near the lake shore too. This one made herself very available to photographers.

also at Edgewater:  someone at the He-Man Woman-Haters Club doesn't spell well.
